Questions About Peter Scolari

Thomas asks…

What are the odds of Peter Kenyon becoming Manchester City's next CEO?

admin answers:

I wouldn't be surprised if he did. The last time someone flashed money in his face he left United for Chelsea. It is Kenyon we're talking about.

Mark asks…

Disrespectful to have sacked Scolari? Or not?

Saw a Chelsea fan comment on the BBC News this morning that he felt it was disrespectful to have sacked a former World Cup winning manager who'd only been in the job for less than 7 months, running a squad which he'd inherited. Personally I feel that if the reports are correct, that Scolari had the full support of the squad and Peter Kenyon, then Abramovich has behaved like the proverbially spoilt rich brat. I can't for the life of my believe that Shankly and Paisley if they were still around, would be laughing their heads off and rubbing their hands with glee. I bet even that Ferguson must be looking at what's happened and he must despair at the short time managers are given these days. So do you think it was disrespectful to have sacked Scolari, or not?

admin answers:

I do believe there is no respect shown by the top football clubs and it is all based upon success or failure. Scholari was unlucky at Chelsea for he had a team that was full of international players but have failed to play as an effective squad this season. Abramovich has too much money and runs the club like a dictator. I feel sorry for anyone who takes over the reins but at least he has two months to galvanise the side.

Daniel asks…

Cast change in "From The Earth To The Moon?"?

If you remember the HBO miniseries, "From The Earth To The Moon," you might recall that Astronaut Pete Conrad (Apollo 12) was played in one episode by Peter Scolari, and in a later episode by Paul McCrane. Why did they change actors mid-stream? Anybody know?

admin answers:

How strange! Both actors actually played Pete Conrad in the very same episode. I don't have the "why" but I have more details. Perhaps you can go into the imdb.com message boards and post the "why" question (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120570/board/threads/). In the mean time, see below...

From imdb.com:
In the first episode, astronaut Pete Conrad is played by two different actors. Peter Scolari plays the role for most of the episode, but in the final "all hands meeting" scene, Paul McCrane takes over the role. (McCrane plays Conrad again in Episode 7.)

From en.wikipedia.org:
In the 1998 HBO miniseries From the Earth to the Moon, he was played by Peter Scolari (in episode 1, "Can We Do This?") and by Paul McCrane (in episode 7, "That's All There Is").

Ken asks…

Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure?

Whatever happened to the other guy? You know! The dude who wasn't Keanu Reeves? It's kinda like Busom Buddies where Tom Hanks went on to become a Mega - Star and Peter Scolari just went on. Seriously! What was his name? And what has he done lately? Thanks for any answers!
Thanks Chris!
Thanks Miley Lover!
