Are American journalists in danger in Egypt? Your thoughts of second attack on Anderson Cooper in Egypt ?
Anderson Cooper has bee giving continuous coverage of Egypt turmoil. This is his second attack. AC was punched in the head by pro-Mubarak mobs. Thoughts?

When a country do not want journalist in their country, that's from any nation then they have something to hide. I think it is about as ruthless and evil as one can get. Anderson Cooper is still in Egypt but unable to film anything, he is in hiding there out of fear, and reporting as much as he possibly can.

Did anyone see how journalist Anderson Cooper was in Egypt and got beaten up by all thoese rioters?
Did they attack him because he was a Western Journalist? Or did they attack him because of his homosexuality?

I think it's a bit generous to describe Anderson Cooper as a "journalist".
I suspect he was beaten up because he's a dick. I'd gladly beat him up, and not because he's gay. It would be a hate-crime, but not of that kind.

From what I've read of it, the attackers were pro mubarak people. It's possible that they wanted the rest of the world to believe the protesters were violent and deserved to be arrested and stopped. Attacking the journalist would be an effective way of giving that impression.
