what is your favorite jim carrey movie and why?

Jim Carrey is awesome. I have so many favorite movies with him. I love Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura: Pet Dective, Bruce Almighty, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and the Mask. If I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be Dumb and Dumber. All of the stuff that happens in that movie is pure genius.

How long did the makeup Jim Carrey wore to play the Grinch take to apply?

I am very much into makeup and special effects and I love the Jim Carrey 'Grinch' movie for it's clever makeup.

I understood it took 3 hours to apply the prosthetic and stuff but how long did it take to get te whole makeup ensemble together including the costume and the contacts?

And is it really true that Jim Carrey found the experience painful?

"There was no skin to be had," Carrey said. "Literally everything was covered. It was impossible to scratch your nose. It was literally a lesson in Zen."

Carrey is pretty frank -- and pretty funny -- about his discomfort with the suit and makeup. It didn't help that it took nearly four hours to apply and an hour to remove or that he had to wear it almost daily for five months. But the absolute worst, according to Carrey, were the oversized contact lens. "They really push you over the edge," he says.

Does anyone know what breed of dog the dog that almost attacks jim carrey the first time he says no after making the promise. He falls down the stairs, and a dog is inches away from biting his face... If anyone knows what breed of dog that is, it would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
