What are some good tap/ballet warm-up songs for kids 3-6 years old?

i am teaching two brand new dance classes (3-4; 5-6) and really need some warm-up songs for tap and ballet for those ages. Honestly i don't want any hannah montana or JB or anything of that sort. Thanks for the help.

For tap, Beatles songs are wonderful. They have a perfect tempo and they are usually appropriate. You could also find a CD with some childrens music on it. I have a CD that has songs like the ants go marching that I use when we do things across the floor. I also use alot of those types of songs for ballet too. We play a game where we "pick apples" (releve) then we put our apples in the bowl (plie) then we step in the bowl and stomp on the apple until we make applesauce. When we play this warm up game we listen to the song apples and bananas. We also play the ballet hokey pokey for warm ups. You just use any version of the hokey pokey and point your toes when you put your feet in. I also use alot of classical music. I have a CD off all music box music that the kids love.

I am looking for educational songs for kids, any ideas?

I nanny for 15 month old twins and we are looking for some new songs to learn. We are currently working on body parts. Songs for this and any others you can think of would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have a 4 year old, and songs for her would be great as well. Maybe days of the week, months, seasons...things like that. Thank you so much!

New Kids On the Block Reunion Concert, appropriate for 8-year old?

I am thinking about going to NKOTB reunion show in San Jose but I recently heard that some of their new songs are a tad dirty, more grown-up than their old songs. And I don't want my daughter to be traumatized... Has anyone been to their new show? Are the songs mostly old or new or 50/50? Thanks for any help!

Well back in the 80's I would say yes. But today with their new stuff i would suggest adult. Dancers have bootie shorts and grinding etc. I wouldnt have my kid there now and i'm a huge fan.

I don't know what cruise to go on ? BSB or NEW KIDS ? ( only if your a fan of 1 or the other )?

I am a fan of both but more bsb i am like well what ever one i go on i can always go on the other one next year. But i can't choose on what one i wanna do first. I am in a wheelchair so its not like i can go on the beach. But like i looked at the new kids videos and it looks there on the boat more then bsb. But i don't know i love bsb more. I think there both the same price at least i think. So it dose not really matter. I gotta agree bsb is better the new kids then again i listin to some of new kids new songs and there amazing to. Why do both have to so hot?



Gosh help me decide ? I only just became of fan of NEW KIDS but more of a fan of bsb. When do tickets go on sale for bsb in case i choose that one? My mom is talking to my step dad about next week or show.
it would be my graduation present.
