I'm not much of a reader but I just started reading "Back Roads" by Tawni O'Dell.?

Anyone that's read this book, can you suggest another read that you think I'll enjoy?

Can you rate these books 1 - 10 !!? ( the ones you've read )?

I'm stuck between books and I just needed alittle help to make a decision.
I just finished World War Z / Max Brooks , Back Roads / Tawni O'Dell, and The Leftovers / Tom Perrotta. Loved all 3, but especially The Leftovers. Please rate the books and give a small summary without any spoilers if possible. Thanks for the help.

-The Bricklayer / Noah Boyd.

-The Abstinence Teacher / Tom Perrotta.

-Lay The Favorite : a memoir of gambling / Beth Raymer.

* Hey Gob. Thanks for the response. I did get IV bc of PTA's involvement, but I didn't know that RDJ was cast. Makes it even better. I have Savages on my reading list, also. I think I will wait to read IV and check back with you in a couple of weeks to get your thoughts.

I bought Inherent Vice about a week ago, cause PTA's gonna make the movie with Downey Jr... Same reason you probably are interested in it too, right? Lol

i've only read about 20 minutes, but I'm liking it.

Joyce Carol Oates - we were the mulvaneys (I just couldn't get into it)

She's Come Undone was soooo good.
White Oleander was OK
Middlesex was the best (Jeffry Eugines) it even won a Pulitzer
those are the only ones I've read from her book club. I think the whole controversy of A Million Little Pieces kind of turned me off of it.
