Questions About Anderson Cooper Video Clips

Michael asks…

Can you read between the lines?

Play the Anderson Cooper clip, then ask yourself what you think really went on between Larry King, Katie, and Wendy 2 years ago, probably all in the same night.

http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video/bestoftv/2009/05/21/ac.cooper.king.loves.cnn

Wendy, he says, is now his executive producer.
Katie is slated to take his illustrious spot when he retires, though it's not official yet. If you take a gander at this link (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB120778369100203247.html),
you'll see Katie has been in talks with the King people and her CBS contract is up in 2011, which is conveniently when Larry plans to retire ("Larry King is currently expected to stay with CNN through 2011." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_King_Live)

Then ask yourself, as a woman, if you have what it takes to make that next big promotion. Will your boss be as discreet?

Mark asks…

Is this the ultimate hypocracy by FOXNews or what? Sean Hannity did a show last week on "Liberal media bias",?

and in his show, he shows a clip of CNN's Anderson Cooper "being biased" against Bush.
Trouble is, the clip Hannity showed was edited to mislead what Cooper actually said.

Isn't that EXTREME bias?...to edit someone elses reporting to make them look biased?

Here's the link for proof of what Hannity did. And it is no surprise to many of us, and FOXNews fans will dismiss it or make excuses. But the facts are facts.

@Lkn4....makes no difference if they are commentators or journalists (and I believe Cooper is a journalists vs Hannity). I made no reference to what their job title is. FOXNews' bread and butter is from it's "commentators/entertainers"...it's pretty much all they offer after 6 pm. And they lie.

admin answers:

Anything that does not tout the extreme views of the right-wing fanatics is media bias, accordion to them. The video you posted shows Anderson Cooper in the unedited clip which proves he did not say what Sean Hannity claims he said. Cooper also hints that Sean Hannity might have been fed the edited clip and that Hannity might not have done the editing himself. Wasting your time watching TV trash is almost as bad as being a Yahoo! Answers addict.

Steven asks…

Pastafarians: Please forgive my ignorance of your faith but I was wondering if the following clip offends you?

... or perhaps this in fact a ritual of your faith? Please let me know which one since the FSM's ways are an enigma to me.

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/bestoftv/2007/07/13/cooper.shot.fri.ramen.noodle.bath.cnn

Oh, and when I say it might offend, I'm not referring to Anderson Cooper. That one's obvious.
I think I understand. The FSM is all around us, even in false noodles? I'm sorry I didn't understand this before.

I thought it might offend because of the *type* of noodle. Maybe it was a false idol or something. My mistake.

admin answers:

Offends? Are you kidding me?

Bathing in ramen is the ultimate path to enlightenment. You can truly become one with the noodly appendage in the ramen!

Donald asks…

Eminem seems to think that...?

people find his lyrics more offensive because he's white.

admin answers:

Yes and no, that's part of the reason. It's because he stands out. He's the most wide known, popular, and listened to rapper in the united states, and he get a lot more talk because he's white and the way he presents his violence, 'homophobia,' etc. That people get on his @ss more.
Being white is a large proponent, but not the only one.
