A happy marriage is simply not in the cards for socialite Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries NBA player because it seems that their time together is officially came to an end after a week or more rumors that the couple was on the rocks .
After a sumptuous (and lucrative) wedding on August 20, it seems that, after less than three months of marriage the couple divorced.
TMZ.com reports that Kim is planning to file for divorce this morning and the story was just confirmed on-line via the Twitter account of Ryan Seacrest.
"Yes @ kimkardashian to divorce this morning. I touched base with her, obtain a statement in a matter of minutes, "he Tweets.
We're told Kim mentioned the "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the break and that it will file for divorce instead of a regular cancellation, which is generally the case for the short marriages.
The couple had a marriage contract in place, and despite a marriage that cost nearly 10 million he earned the couple through marriage special broadcast on the E! Kim network. Word is that they collected nearly $ 20 million for it.
Last week's issue of Us Weekly magazine reported that the couple was "do not get along at all" and that while Kim is at work Kris is still at the party since the NBA is currently locked out.
In his first official statement since Kim Kardashian legally asked the court to dissolve their marriage, due to "irreconcilable differences," the former New Jersey Nets forward doesn't sound willing to accept his relationship's fate.
"I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents," Humphries said in a statement. "I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce... I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."
